CRADLEY Town manager Mark Jones says everyone at the club is looking forward to taking on Lye Town in Saturday’s FA Vase derby clash (3pm kick-off).

The Hammers go into the away game in good form after Tuesday night’s 3-1 success against Wolverhampton Sporting Community sent them back to the top of the West Midlands Premier League.

“We weren’t at our best but did enough to come from behind and get the win,” said Jones.

“It shows the spirit is there in the squad, but also that there is hopefully some improvement still to come.

“Everyone is looking forward to the Lye game now. It really is a case of David versus Goliath. They are in a higher league and have more money to spend.

“It gives us a chance to pit ourselves against a very good side and show what we can do without any pressure on us.

“Being at the top of the league brings its own pressure, but that won’t be there on Saturday. We will be the underdogs and can go and play with the shackles off and learn a lot about where we are as a team.”
