TEAM Dudley drew 1-1 with Trysull at the Dell Stadium last Saturday.

It took 22 minutes for the first real opportunity to fall to either side as Dudley's Myles Nettleford wriggled free inside the area, he found himself on the toes of the keeper and couldn’t fashion a real shot on goal.

A couple of low down saves were then made from Dudley debutant stopper Grant Trevis.

It was on 48th minute when the deadlock was broken. A lively Nathan Jones was fed by James Hill before he latched onto the ball and hit a powerful effort at goal. Goalkeeper Mark Reach got a hand on the shot but couldn't prevent it finding the net.

However, the lead lasted just three minutes until Mark Cartwright converted following a Trysull corner.

Trevis got a hand onto the ball but was knocked by Trysull attackers before Cartwright headed home.

Dudley appealed for a foul on Trevis but the goal stood.

Late chances came and went for both sides.

A Nettleford header fell short before Trevis came off his line to deny Trysull.
