DUDLEY Town extended their unbeaten run to three games with a draw against local rivals Gornal Athletic last Saturday.
The Robins continued their impressive progress by claiming a 1-1 draw at the Dell Stadium.
Only a Carl Martin strike with five minutes to go salvaged a point for promotion hopefuls Gornal after Dudley had got themselves ahead.
The progress shown this season has impressed chairman Steve Austin. He said: "We have been playing very well and look like we are very dangerous going forwards.
"Everyone at the club is positive and looking forward to every game."
Dudley were looking to continue their fine form when facing Wolverhampton Sporting Community away last night.
They will then take on Nuneaton Griff away in the FA Vase this Saturday. They will continue their league campaign at home to Malvern Town the following Wednesday.
"I think we deserved to win against Gornal," added Austin. "More importantly, however, that result shows we are capable of competing with the top five sides in this division and shows exactly how far we have progressed since the season started."
