A MAN and woman in their 60s were attacked by a group of youngsters in Sedgley, prompting police to launch an investigation.
The victims were assaulted in High Street, Sedgley, on Sunday (March 17) at around 6.10pm.
They were punched and kicked after being approached by a group of youngsters, police said.
Officers are examining CCTV in the area and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We're investigating after a man and woman were assaulted in High Street, Sedgley, at around 6.10pm on Sunday (17 March).
"The pair - both aged in their 60s - were approached by a group of young people and then punched and kicked.
"We're carrying out CCTV and other enquiries and anyone with information can contact us via Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101, and quote 20/306864/24."
