FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire near flats in Netherton.
A pile of fly-tipped rubbish including furniture, general waste and car parts is believed to have been deliberately set fire to on Withymoor Road yesterday (Monday February 12).
A fire engine and two 4x4 fire service vehicles were called to the scene at around 7.15pm.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: “We were called to an outdoor fire behind flats.
“The fire was four metres by four metres and involved furniture, rubbish, car parts and the grass it was on was burning.
“The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.”
