CLASSICAL music lovers are set for a treat next month when Gig Caritas stage their annual choral concert.
They will be performing the English edited version of St John Passion by Bach at St Thomas Church in Market Street, Stourbridge on Saturday, March 18.
The concert will feature a 60 strong choir accompanied by Stourbridge Chamber Orchestra under the baton of renown local conductor Keith Horsfall.
Also appearing will be no less than six professional soloists comprising of Louise Maguire, Judith Moreland, Nick Drew, Ed Harrison, Philip Bellshaw and Paul Mocroft, who will all be joining forces to present this dramatic work.
The concert marks 12 years since the formation of Gig Caritas who have raised more than £60,000 for local good causes.
This concert's proceeds will go to the Black Country Foodbank.
