HAPPY Friday everyone -the weekend is finally here.
But before we can enjoy the break, we need to get through one more day at work.
A quick glance around the Black Country and North Worcestershire suggests the roads are looking okay, but there are a few incidents, some congestion and ongoing road works. Some to look out for are:
-
Arrow: Traffic heavier than normal due to drivers travelling towards the Game Fair on A435 both ways at A422/Evesham Street.
-
Oldbury: Heavy traffic on A4123 Wolverhampton Road Southbound at A4034 Churchbridge (Birchley Island). Affecting traffic heading towards M5 J2.
-
M6: Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to broken down vehicle and recovery work on M6 Southbound between J7 A34 (Great Barr) and J6 A38(M) Aston Expressway / A5127 Gravelly Hill / A38 Tyburn Road / Slade Road Spaghetti Junction, congestion to J10a M54. Travel time is at around 40 minutes. Lane one and two (of four) is closed.
