FAMILY show The Wizard of Oz – complete with a flying witch and monkeys – opens at Brierley Hill Civic Hall next Tuesday (June 7) in a production by Quarry Bank Musical Theatre Society.
Following her success as Anna in the company’s The King and I, Sarah Coussens has the role of the Scarecrow, with Elysia Stretton as Dorothy, Ricky Stevens as the Tin Man and Carl Cook as the Lion.
Seasoned performer Jo Tranter is looking forward to her first role with QBMTS as the Wicked Witch of the North and Cradley Heath-based Sheryl Dance Academy is once again providing dancers with choreographer Sheryl Pearson
But it will undoubtedly be Daisy the dog who steals the show as Toto.
The production runs until Saturday (June11) nightly at 7.15pm.
